Claims, defences and contractual disputes

We assemble and assess the documents supporting the client’s position, prepare any required pre-action notices, and draft claims and defence submissions. The work addresses contractual performance and termination, outstanding payments, liability and compensation.

Throughout proceedings, we examine the opposing party’s evidence and arguments, prepare responses, attend hearings and assess the grounds for appeal.

Debt recovery and enforcement

A judgment is one stage in recovering a debt. We also handle enforcement proceedings, including attachment of assets and funds held by third parties, and issues arising during execution.

The team’s experience includes enforcement against real estate and judicial-sale procedures, as well as attachment concerning shares and bonds. We review the available documents and assets when preparing the enforcement steps.

Banking and capital-market disputes

Our lawyers’ experience includes banking and financial settlements and disputes involving brokerage and capital-market activity. We examine the contractual documents, account records and obligations underlying the claim, and advise on settlement and litigation.

Corporate transactions and securities-related advisory work are covered by our Corporate & Commercial practice; allegations of financial crime are addressed within Criminal Litigation.
